The Easiest Way to Choose the Right Starting Point
Unlimited Your Way
Usually the first plan family to review for business smartphone lines. Different employees can use different eligible unlimited plan levels in the same plan group.
Mobile Select
A pooled-data option that can make sense for qualifying mixed-device environments where the business wants shared data rather than unlimited smartphone plans.
DataConnect / Business Connect
Data-only plan families for eligible devices that do not need a normal smartphone voice plan.
AT&T Wireless Broadband
Cellular broadband for compatible hotspot or router equipment used for business connectivity, temporary sites, mobile operations or backup.
Internet Air for Business
Fixed wireless internet tied to an eligible business service address. This is different from mobile Wireless Broadband.
Plan + Device + Promotion
The best device offer may require a specific plan, new line, upgrade status, trade-in or installment setup. Check the plan and promotion together.

Mobile Select: Pooled Data
Mobile Select is different from Unlimited Your Way. Instead of focusing on unlimited smartphone tiers, eligible lines share a pool of data. Depending on the account and device eligibility, this can be useful for mixed-device environments or organizations that want to manage a defined amount of shared data.

Data-Only Plans for Connected Devices
A tablet, laptop, router, scanner, camera or monitoring device does not always belong on the same type of plan as a smartphone. DataConnect and Business Connect cover several data-only use cases.
DataConnect is commonly used for eligible tablets, laptops and similar computing devices.
Business Connect is commonly used for qualified routers, scanners, monitoring equipment, hotspot devices and other connected equipment.

AT&T Wireless Broadband
Wireless Broadband uses AT&T's cellular network through compatible mobile-hotspot or router equipment. It is designed for business connectivity rather than a normal smartphone line.
Common uses include backup connectivity, temporary locations, mobile work sites and situations where a wired connection is not practical. Current plan levels have different maximum speeds, so the plan name and price alone do not tell the full story.

Internet Air for Business: Fixed Wireless Internet
Internet Air for Business is fixed wireless internet for an eligible business service address. It is not the same thing as taking a mobile hotspot or router from location to location.

Can One Business Use More Than One Plan Family?
Yes. A company might use Unlimited Your Way for employee smartphones, DataConnect for tablets, Wireless Broadband for backup connectivity and Internet Air at a location where fixed wireless makes sense.
The device type, location, usage, number of lines, account structure and available promotions determine which combination makes sense.
A Plan Page Should Tell You the Rules — Not Just the Sales Price
- What the normal monthly price is.
- Whether the displayed price assumes AutoPay or paperless billing.
- Whether the payment method changes the discount.
- Whether line count changes the per-line price.
- What device types are allowed on the plan.
- What happens after a data or hotspot threshold is reached.
- Whether a temporary promotion is being mixed into the advertised price.
