Secure Access Service Edge, or SASE, combines networking and cloud-delivered security. It is designed for organizations that need to connect and protect branch locations, remote users, cloud applications and devices under a consistent policy framework.
SD-WAN
Helps route and optimize traffic across locations and connections while giving the organization more centralized control and visibility.
Zero-Trust Access
Helps apply identity-based access rules so users receive appropriate access to applications and data rather than broad network access simply because they connected.
Threat Prevention & Policy
Depending on the configuration, SASE can include secure web gateway, firewall-as-a-service, cloud access security and related protections.

Not by itself. AT&T describes Dynamic Defense as network security-as-a-service, not a managed detection-and-response service. Businesses that need a fully managed security operation may need additional specialist or managed-security services.
What is SASE?
Secure Access Service Edge combines SD-WAN and cloud-delivered security capabilities so users, locations, applications and devices can be connected and protected under a more unified architecture.
Does AT&T offer Managed SASE?
Yes. AT&T currently offers managed SASE solutions with Cisco and Palo Alto Networks. The design and pricing depend on the organization, users, locations, connectivity and security requirements.
