Visit Asurion / AT&T Claims
When contacting Asurion about a defective device, make clear that you are calling about a warranty exchange, not accidental damage or an insurance claim.

Is It Warranty or Damage?

A warranty exchange is generally for a device that has developed a defect or stopped working properly during normal use.

  • Phone will not power on and has no physical damage
  • Touchscreen stops responding without a cracked screen
  • Speaker or microphone stops working
  • Camera stops working
  • Charging or another hardware component fails during normal use
Physical damage is different.
A cracked screen, broken back glass, liquid damage, a dropped phone, or a lost or stolen device is generally not a standard warranty exchange. Those situations may require device protection or insurance coverage.

Damage, Loss or Theft?

If the device is cracked, damaged, lost or stolen, check the protection coverage on the AT&T Business line instead of starting a warranty exchange.

AT&T Business customers may have Protect Advantage for Business or AT&T Business Protect. These are separate protection programs and use different claim processes.
