- Eligibility check: Unsure if your device qualifies?
The device may not meet the unlock eligibility criteria, which include:
- The device has been reported as lost or stolen.
- There is a pending early termination fee, installment charge, or buyer’s remorse exchange period.
- No contract is found.
- The device is prepaid.
- An unlock code is not available.
- Process guidance: Navigating the portal can be confusing. Read what is needed below on each screenshot and make sure you have all the information handy. The process will start over if you take too long to enter the information needed. After you enter the mobile number of the device that needs unlocking, the next screen will look like below for business accounts.
Fill out all the information, the section asking for the account password I did not have one so I skipped that part. It is not your FAN password.
The next screen will ask for the IMEI number of the device to be unlocked.
After you enter the IMEI and submit. You will get a request number.
